This is a schedule of Crüxshadows Fairies events for DragonCon 2023

Crüxshadows Fairies Meet and Greet
When: Thursday at 7 pm
Where: by the booth (Marquis level of the Marriott Marquis)
Come say hello to everyone, introduce yourself if you’re new, and chat about the upcoming Con events.

Fairy Lunch
Friday at 11:30 am – have your food and be ready by 11:30!
Where: Secret Food Court! (Truist Plaza Food Court)
This event will be the formal introduction of the weekend. Rules, information, badges, and expectations will all be handled here.

Parade Dance Practice
When: Friday after fairy lunch
Where: Marriott 10th Floor
If you are participating in the parade and want to learn some choreography to perform while walking, this is the place to be.

Goth: Release the Bats!
When: Friday at 5:30 pm
Where: Westin Peachtree 1-2
Join Rogue and several other figures in the Goth Scene for a discussion about the state of the scene, current projects, and Goth in Pop Culture.

Afterall Panel
When: Friday at 7 pm
Where: Hyatt Hanover C – E
Brent and Rogue will be reading from a newly published illustrated section of Afterall, a project deeply imbued with The Crüxshadows they have written/created together, as well as answering questions about the project.

Parade
Saturday leaving stand by 8:30 am. Alternatively you can be at the staging area between 7:30 am and 9:15 am
Where: Meet at the Crüxshadows stand if walking with us, Staging area if not. Note, there are shuttles
Be a part of one of the premiere events at DragonCon! Fairies will need to dress up and wear wings. We will walk over to the staging area together. The parade route is different than previous years, so please exercise caution if you plan on going to the staging area by yourself. Get hydrated before the parade. It is a bit of a walk to the staging area, but there will be a shuttle for those who prefer that option. Once at staging, we will practice the dance!

Group Photoshoot
Friday after the parade
Where: Marriott 10th floor
Don your best wings and join us for the annual Fairy Family Photo! Fairies in the parade will head there together, if you don’t march in the Parade, head there around when everyone is returning.

An Hour with the Crüxshadows
When: Saturday at 2:30 pm
Where: Hyatt International South

The Day Everyone is Waiting For: Concert!
Sunday night, time TBD. Official time will be given in the fairy group
Where: Meet outside to the right of the rightmost door of the Hyatt Centennial Ballroom II-III. There is a black curtain that we often are able to hide behind while waiting for the show.
The concert is at 1:30 am. Frenchy & The Punk is playing at midnight. We will once again try to allow the fairies early priority into the Ballroom, but it is never a promise. Arrive as early as possible. If we cannot get in front, we will have to stand in line like everyone else.
